Homeless Employment Program

The Homeless Employment Program helps unhoused individuals overcome barriers to finding and securing employment.  Services provided include transportation, child care, interview practice, warm introductions to employers, or buying work and interview clothing. This program is offered in partnership with a number of local agencies including Committee on the Shelterless, YWCA, Catholic Charities, TLC Child and Family Services, Sonoma Applied Villages Services, County Behavioral Health and others.

Prison to Employment

The County of Sonoma Human Services Division celebrates 2 successful years of the Prison 2 Employment Project (P2E). This important project began in 2020 to provide unique job training, funds to purchase interview clothes, and employment connections to clients who have been incarcerated.
